Golden Sea Moss vs Purple Sea Moss: In nature color provides different benefits which is why our base sea moss product mixes both gold and purple sea moss. The main difference between the two is that “Golden Sea Moss” is dried in the sun and “Purple Sea Moss” is dried in shade not in the sun. The drying process causes the change in color, but it is the same sea moss plant. Purple has a stronger sea ocean smell and taste as well as it keeps a larger percentage on the nutrients.
